A Teens Guide to Tough QuestIONS About God

Most of us have wrestled with difficult issues regarding God at some point. It's quite acceptable to have doubts or questions from time to time, whether they are related to predestination, suffering, evil, the Bible's veracity, or even the existence of God.

However, what should you do if friends or you yourself have difficult questions? First, let's examine what the Bible says, followed by some helpful advice.

In the Book of Psalms:

  • “Why, O LORD, do you stand far away? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?” (10:1)
  • “Why have you forgotten me?” (42:9b)
  • “Why do you forget our affliction and oppression?” (44:24b)
  • “How long, O God, is the foe to scoff? Is the enemy to revile your name forever?” (74:10)
